About Stondin Bistro & Barin South Iceland
Strondin bistro-bar is a restaurant in Vík in south Iceland that has been operated since spring 2008. The restaurant seats up to 90 people and is open during the summer months; from June until end of August.
The location of our restaurant is perfect with enormous view as you can see from our picture gallery. The restaurant is family run and we are working in towards our goal to get elegant atmosphere with this magnificent view we have from the sea to mountain.
In Our a-la-carte restaurant you can choose from our extended
menu where you will find courses ranging from traditional Icelandic food to pizzas. We highly recommend that you try our excellent traditional Icelandic food; smoked lamb, Icelandic fish stew and the Icelandic specialties “rotten” shark.
What is then more appropriate after lovely meal than a taste of sweet freshly baked cake with a not so Icelandic espresso.
It is our goal that you will have a pleasant experience at our restaurant and will continue exploring the Icelandic Nature full and happy.
